About Platypus Test Kitchen

Platypus Test Kitchen is a casual Mediterranean bistro located in the heart of the Singapore CBD; specializing in hand-made pastas and seasonal Mediterranean fare, we take pride in making everything from scratch and using top-quality imported ingredients.

Why Platypus?

We chose the platypus because it is a very versatile/weird egg-laying mammal; it’s got a duck’s bill, a beaver’s tail, webbed feet and a bear’s body. Much like the test kitchen, we want to develop processes and cuisine to adapt to the ever changing gastronomy scene in Singapore… and well sometimes we are a little weird in our own platypus way.
